Fox Viniagrette

Traditionally used in the 1800's as a container for smelling salts or sweet smaelling fragrance, Viniagrettes were usually made in fine silver or more rarely, fine bone china. Beautifully sculpted and hand painted in the form of a fox's head, the viniagrette features an ornate gold plated brass bezel set with a decorative pierced fine bone china lid. the Hound measures 4.3" long and 2.75" wide.
