Guardian Angel

From Westland Giftware Horse of a Different Color Collection, "Guardian Angel" Clydesdale Horse is made of hand-painted resin. This figurine measures 6.5" tall. A metal plaque is embedded in the base, showing the title and the exact serial number (out of 10,000). This Clydesdale horse figurine is decorated with ornate oversized angel wings and sports a purple butterfly in its mane, a flowing yellow ribbon seems to have wrapped itself along the horse's body, and flowers are in the horse's tail. Descended from the massive warhorses of Medieval Europe, the Clydesdale is known for its massive size and extreme strength, but most often commands a gentle nature. In 1776, huge Clydesdale draft horses were used to pull artillery and supplies to aid in The War for Independence. Today horses are the pride of parades and competitions.
